Making waves with emerging technology.
McQ has designed Underwater Sensor Systems for the Navy that automatically detect underwater targets and pass critical information via a communications link to a data display and analysis facility.
Key technologies of the McQ underwater sensors are high performance Digital Signal Processors (DSPs) that quickly process sensor signals and extract features for transmission over limited bandwidth communication links and leading edge signal processing to recognize target acoustic signatures.
Another McQ technology advance is the data management of the very large database stored in the sensor and the capability to sort through the database to send only specific data of interest.
